Completed in September 2001, Riverport Commons IV is a 122,252-square-foot speculative office building in Earth City, Missouri. The project was completed on an aggres­sive time frame to meet the needs of the major tenant. Using design-build delivery methods, Clayco was able to meet challenges in a timely and cost-effective manner.

In order to meet the needs of the tenant, Clayco coor­dinated and integrated computer and communications requirements into the base design. In addition, Clayco poured decks out of sequence to allow for construction of technology infrastructure to commence.

Clayco completed construction in 2003 on a 238,000-square-foot campus for Magellan Health Services, the country’s leader in employee assis­tance programs and managed behavioral health care. Magellan, headquartered in Columbia, Maryland, expanded its National Service Center operations in St. Louis on a 21-acre site at 14100 Riverport Dr. in TRiSTAR Business Communities’ Riverport Commons development.
