In partnership with Cushman & Wakefield, CRG is involved in a development team responsible for handling a complex zoning imitative, entitlements and economic development incentive package negotiations with St. Louis County for the Centene Centre project located in Clayton, Missouri. Clayco has been selected as the construction manager to oversee the expansion.

This $770 million investment will expand into the community with a new structure adjacent to existing Centene Plaza. When complete, the project will include new office space, residential living, ground level retail, structured parking and a civic center complete with a full-scale auditorium. The new buildings will be environmentally friendly, world-class LEED Gold certified and include fully landscaped walkways with public green spaces.

The installed bridge across Hanley Road in Clayton, Missouri connects Centene Plaza to the new Centene Centre. Construction began on the bridge in October 2018 at a staging area 1/4 mile from the installation site. The bridge is a steel structure with a concrete floor slab on metal deck. The walls are high performance curtain wall with a laminated blue glass and composite metal panel roof and soffits.

This expansion is expected to create 2,000 jobs with nearly half of these jobs being new jobs created. The proposed expansion is designed to meet Centene’s growth projections while creating a vibrant, mixed-use development that fits into the City’s long-term development plans.
