Clayco provided design-build services for CitiMortgage’s 515,000-square-foot office building and processing center. CitiMortgage is a brand of Citigroup, the leading global financial services company, with approximately 200 million customer accounts in more than 160 countries and jurisdictions. This is one of the largest design-build projects in St. Louis and consolidated Citigroup’s St. Louis area-based CitiMortgage operations into one location.
The project was completed in only 19 months and utilized several new methodologies, including a thin-brick system fascia and an under-floor heating and cooling system. Other building features include a glass curtainwall, a raised access floor throughout associated work areas, large floor plates allowing for 4,700 individual work areas, open floor plans with perimeter window views, and modular mechanical and electrical systems to allow for flexible interior building layouts. The use of load-bearing site-cast panels with an inlaid brick system on the exterior facade gives the facility a brick-like appearance.
