The facility is designed for approximately 600 megawatts. The development will include four single-story buildings and will use closed-loop cooling.

CRG is developing a data center campus in Festus, Missouri, located along US Highway 67 in Jefferson County within the St. Louis metropolitan area. The campus is designed for approximately 600 megawatts across four single-story buildings, representing an estimated $6 billion investment.

The site plan places the four data center buildings on roughly 173 acres of development area, with more than half of the property — approximately 188 acres, or 52 percent — left permanently preserved, protecting the ridgeline and existing tree buffers. The plan provides a 500-foot setback from adjacent residential property lines and a 200-foot setback from adjacent commercial property lines, with the nearest residential home approximately 1,200 feet from any data center building. Supporting infrastructure includes mechanical and electrical yards for each building, a substation pad, and an Ameren switchyard.

The facility uses a closed-loop cooling system that recycles water, producing little to no wastewater. Backup power is provided by Tier 4 generators, and site lighting is fully downward-directed to minimize spillover. The development draws no water from private wells and is designed to pay for its own energy and infrastructure.

Once operational, the project is expected to create approximately 1,000 construction jobs at peak and more than 200 permanent positions.
