As the President of CRG, Chris McKee’s role is instrumental in driving CRG’s strategic goals within a range of sectors including industrial, multifamily, student housing, office, institutional, and master-planned verticals nationwide. His pivotal contributions extend to business development, financial performance, and guiding the company’s long-term strategic planning. Through collaborative leadership alongside CRG’s Chief Executive Officer, Shawn Clark, Chris has been integral in establishing CRG as a premier national real estate development and investment firm. The company has developed more than 12,500 acres of land and delivered over 220 million square feet of assets, representing over $14 billion in value across all verticals.

Chris’ leadership expands to managing CRG’s eight national offices, where he oversees the complete development deal flow process. His oversight includes critical steps such as site identification, land acquisition and negotiation, economic analysis, public engagement and entitlements, underwriting, design, build, and construction. With over two decades of commercial real estate experience, Chris’ established expertise lies in identifying and delivering high-value real estate development opportunities.

In addition to his role at CRG, Chris is actively involved in various organizations. He is a member of the St. Louis Chapter of the Young President’s Organization (YPO), sits on the Board of the Missouri Baptist Medical Center’s Board, and serves as Chairman of the Catholic School Center Board of Directors at Washington University.

Chris holds an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. He also earned a Masters of Science, in Environmental Engineering, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering – both from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. His diverse educational background underscores his comprehensive understanding of the real estate industry, from business and environmental perspectives to the intricate details of civil engineering.
