The corporate headquarters for Express Scripts, Inc., located on the University of Missouri-St. Louis (UMSL) Research Park, consists of two high performance, LEED-Certified office buildings under a collaborative agreement with UMSL. In cooperation with the university through a long term land lease, a Clayco/McEagle joint venture developed the site and completed the first 315,000-square-foot, three-story building in August, 2007.
Most recently, this same joint venture completed a second building for Express Scripts, a 197,000-square-foot, four-story building and shared parking structure. CRG worked collaboratively with the University, four municipalities, St. Louis County and the State of Missouri to create and sponsor a financial structure that incorporated local and state incentives with other private financing sources to successfully bring about this project. As a result, Express Scripts has fostered a productive and positive relationship with the University of Missouri-St. Louis in the research, development and technology fields. In total, the new headquarters facility sits on 26 acres with approximately 512,000-square-feet of structures.
