Clayco completed construction of a 170,000-square-foot, single-story transaction and bill processing center for Citigroup in Urbandale, Iowa. Completed on a fast-track schedule, the center was the first tenant in Paragon Office Park, a 260-acre master-planned development. Constructed using structural steel, three-quarter-inch brick embedded in structural concrete panels, insulated, tilt-up panel walls, and 25-foot clear-height ceilings, the processing center accommodates envelope-stuffing and envelope-opening equipment. In addition, the building features 40,000 square feet of management offices and an employee break room.
Clayco later completed a 45,652-square-foot expansion for Citigroup in Urbandale, Iowa. The expansion provided Citigroup with much needed office and service center space. While also completing the interior finish for the expansion, Clayco’s Lamar Johnson Collaborative, in a joint venture with M+H Architects, designed the extra space to house new equipment for Citigroup.
