CRG is developing Bridgeport, a 500-acre industrial mega site with 8.5 million square feet of potential in Newnan, Georgia.

Within Coweta County, Bridgeport is strategically located on the I-85 interchange at Exit 41 and near major transportation systems, including Interstate 85, both CSX and Norfolk Southern railroads, Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International and Newnan-Coweta Airport. Due to the site’s intermodal access, the facility boasts 120 fully equipped docks with 40,000 lb. levelers with a fully equipped dock package and 108 future knock-outs with dock seals, 4 drive-in doors, 427 car-park, 183 trailer spots with 144 future spots and ESFR.

The first phase of the development includes 611,050 square feet pad ready and a 1,002,150 square feet speculative building.  When complete the building will be divisible to 742,140 SF / 404,860 SF and include 40’ clear height, 620’ deep cross loaded, 50’ x 57’ column spacing, as well as 60’ speed bays.

Coweta County is a recognized leader in developing the talent and workforce a company needs. With a working age population of over 3.7 million people within a 45-minute drive, Coweta County is geographically located to help companies attract workers from throughout the west Georgia/east Alabama region. The area is also known as a health care destination due in part to its three hospitals. – Piedmont Newman Hospital, Cancer Treatment Centers of America and HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital.

The southwest Atlanta submarket contains an industrial base in excess of 150 million square feet. The mega-site can accommodate building sizes exceeding 2 million square feet.

Clayco will serve as the design-builder and its subsidiary Lamar Johnson Collaborative is the architect on the project.
