CRG and Venture One developed a $17 million state-of-the-art U.S. manufacturing facility for WABCO, the leading global supplier of technologies and control systems for the safety and efficiency of commercial vehicles.
The 145,000 square-foot facility, located in North Charleston, South Carolina became fully operational the first quarter of 2016. The space includes a 60,000 square-foot manufacturing area, a 68,000 square-foot warehouse area and a 16,000 square-foot office area.
WABCO is using the new facility to meet its increased North American customer demand for air compressors and air disc brakes for commercial trucks.
The expansion created more than 50 news jobs while maintaining 175 existing positions.
