Clayco served as a single source for PepsiCo’s St. Louis production and bottling facility, providing complete turnkey services for the construction and equipment installation at the 257,000-square-foot facility.

Designed to modernize and support the soft drink maker’s St. Louis operations, the facility features technologically advanced production and bottling equipment, including high-speed can and bottle filling machinery, intricate bulk raw material, finished goods conveyor handling systems, and state-of-the-art line and process controls. The facility was constructed from precast concrete panels with structural steel framing and contains 22,000 square feet of Class A office space. The building has 34-foot clear-height ceilings in the distribution area and 26-foot clear-height ceilings in the production zone.

Clayco also completed the design and construction of a 40,000-square-foot addition to the St. Louis Pepsi warehouse while the existing portion of the facility remained operational.
