CRG To Develop and Build 1.2M SF Industrial Facility in North Little Rock, Arkansas for Fortune 100 Company

The firm’s industrial standard continues to attract premium brands seeking modern warehouse and distribution facilities to match their growth objectives in a supply-constrained market
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (June 6, 2022) — CRG, the national real estate development and investment firm, today announced that it is developing a 1,200,540-square-foot build-to-suit industrial project on 115 acres in North Little Rock, Ark., for a national Fortune 100 home improvement company. Located off Highway 70 at the Galloway exit, just 9 miles north of the Port of Little Rock, the new warehouse and distribution facility offers easy access to the centrally located port and its intermodal facilities.
“As record-high demand for industrial space continues throughout the U.S., we are excited to develop a state-of-the-art facility on behalf of a Fortune 100 brand,” said Mike Demperio, executive vice president and Southeast Region industrial partner for CRG. “This user is incorporating the latest distribution facility features, technology and equipment at an ideal location to help it meet its customers’ demands for quick and efficient delivery in a competitive retail landscape.
Once completed, the 1.2 million-square-foot cross-dock warehouse will offer the same modern features included in all of CRG’s The Cubes branded facilities, such as 36’ clear height, ESFR sprinkler systems, high-efficiency LED lighting, ample dock doors, trailer storage and car and truck parking — all features sought by the nation’s leading retailers. CRG’s parent company Clayco will serve as the builder for the project and Lamar Johnson Collaborative as the architect. Project construction is underway and commenced in May of this year. This 1.2 million-square-foot build-to-suit industrial facility marks the third industrial development project that CRG has developed for this user.
“Earning repeat business from this Fortune 100 company is a testament to the success of CRGs vertically integrated develop-design-build platform and The Cubes standards,” said Shawn Clark, president at CRG. “It is a testament to our firm’s vertically integrated platform and our ability to provide high-quality develop, design, and build services for our client’s most important projects.”
Nationally, CRG has planned projects, broken ground, or completed over 43 million square feet of The Cubes projects throughout the U.S., with approximately 25 million square feet delivered.
