CRG Announces New Vice President of Construction in its Residential Group

The addition of the 25-year construction veteran to CRG’s multifamily team continues the firm’s strategic growth of its national platform

CHICAGOCRG, the Chicago-based national real estate development and investment firm, announced today that Bryan Greger has joined CRG as vice president of construction for its residential group. CRG’s growing residential platform, focused on developing $1 billion in apartments nationally over the next two years, will significantly benefit from Greger’s 25 years of construction management experience, predominantly in the multifamily sector.

In his new role, Greger will oversee the management of all phases of CRG’s multifamily construction operations from proposal and preconstruction through construction and close out. This includes estimates, bids, value engineering, contract negotiation, schedule and budget adherence, FF&E implementation, commissioning and more as well as turnover to property management teams.

“As one of the most vertically integrated real estate developers in the country, which continues to identify high-quality multifamily and student housing development opportunities in sought-after markets, we are thrilled to leverage Bryan’s experience in managing and delivering complex, award-winning projects to support the future of the CRG residential platform,” stated JJ Smith, managing partner for CRG. “Bryan has successfully led construction administration and completion for many noteworthy projects spanning multiple construction types that directly align with our residential vision. His skillset complements our existing team and I look forward to his contributions in bringing our pipeline vision to life.”

Prior to joining CRG, Greger held senior construction administration roles with national design firms BKV Group and Cuningham Group, and served as a structural engineer with Hammel, Green and Abrahamson where he honed his experience with a variety of construction frame types of marquee projects. Greger holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Minnesota.
